Equitility Training Banners are a versatile piece of schooling equipment.

Equitility Training Banners are printed full colour one or both sides. They are designed with a ‘pole sleeve’ top and bottom. Simply slip a pole into the top sleeve and hang it from a standard jump cup, then slip a second pole in the bottom to secure. These banners are soft and flexible to help minimise risk of injury.

Fence building
Equitility Training Banners can be used to build a variety of obstacles in either a brightly coloured show jump or rustic cross-country style fence. For safety, all hanging jump fillers should be placed on flat cups.

General education
It can be useful to be able to create situations which may occur away from home, so that both horse and rider can learn to cope in the safety of the schooling environment first. Create spaces that narrow and open out again. Always take care to place poles in such a way that they can be easily and safely knocked down. Hang the banners along the edge of the arena to simulate the publicity banners often used around the show ring. Lay the banners on the ground to simulate a ditch or water tray. The 'ditch' can start off narrow by folding or rolling the banner up. Remove the bottom pole and leave the banner to move in the breeze. Scoop sand up under the edges of an Equitility Training Banner and it will hold water.

Useful pole cover
Leave a pole in each pocket and lay over the top of your pole stack. Place the Training Banner face down to minimise UV effect on the print. The inks used have good UV resistance but like everything, will eventually fade in direct sunlight. Storing the banners face down or rolled around a pole will prolong life.
